- The HXGN17-12 series box-type fixed AC metal-enclosed ring main unit (hereinafter referred to as the RMU) is a complete switchgear set designed for 12kV rated voltage and 50Hz rated frequency three-phase AC systems. It is widely used in ring network power supply and distribution systems as well as radial power supply and distribution systems, serving to protect and control power equipment such as transformers, cables, and overhead lines. Its main switching components include the FN12-12 series pneumatic load switches and their combined electrical devices, the FZN25-12 series vacuum load switches and their combined electrical devices, and the YD4 series vacuum circuit breakers—all manufactured by Fujian Dongfang Electric Co., Ltd. These products have been included in the "Recommended Catalog of Key Equipment Products and Manufacturers for National Urban and Rural Power Grid Construction and Renovation" issued by the former State Economic and Trade Commission (SETC).
