1、Insulation Faults
Common forms of insulation faults include short circuits or breakdown caused by harsh environmental conditions damaging insulation performance, aging or damage of insulating materials, and entry of small animals. Conduct regular inspections: immediately replace aging or damaged insulating materials, clean dirt from the surface of insulating components, install protective plates on HV RMUs to prevent small animal entry, and promptly identify the root cause of faults for immediate rectification.
2、Operating Mechanism Faults
These are often caused by burnout of the opening/closing coil due to failure to trip or close. Investigate the cause promptly for correction and replace the coil with a new one.

、Faults Caused by Improper Selection of Protective Components
Accidents may result from improper selection of the HV RMU's rated current or mismatched setting time. In case of such faults, promptly identify the cause and replace with suitable components.

、Accidents Caused by Non-Compliance with Operating Procedures
Malfunctions such as incorrect tripping/closing or component damage due to failure to follow operating procedures. Operators must familiarize themselves with the product's operating guidelines and perform operations in accordance with established procedures.
5、Faults Caused by Environmental Changes
Abrupt changes in environmental temperature, humidity, or pollution index may trigger faults. Measures to improve the environment include installing air conditioning and heating equipment, identifying pollution sources, and removing contaminants in a timely manner.
